1. Team Introduction

The Magnetic Pulse R&D Team focuses on applied research in high-intensity pulsed electromagnetic technology. The team has pioneered the "non-magnetic assembly – integrated magnetization and demagnetization" manufacturing technology for large-scale permanent magnet electrical equipment. By overcoming key challenges such as structural stability of the magnetizing system under strong electromagnetic shocks, precise alignment and operation of the magnetizing coil within confined spaces, and consistency testing of residual magnetism at the magnetic poles, the team has established an advanced technical system. They have developed the world's only integrated magnetization and demagnetization equipment for large-pole-surface permanent magnets, driving innovation in permanent magnet equipment manufacturing technology.

Their research achievements have been widely applied in the integrated magnetization of large-scale permanent magnet equipment, including 0.5 MW to 26 MW permanent magnet wind turbines, ship traction motors, and mining motors. In high-performance manufacturing, the technology improves precision and efficiency; in operation and maintenance, it ensures the stable operation of wind power equipment; and in recycling and remanufacturing, it expands pathways for resource circular utilization. Demonstrating immense potential throughout the entire lifecycle of permanent magnet electrical equipment, the technology holds promising prospects in related global industries and lays a solid technological foundation for efficient energy utilization and sustainable development.

2. Project Progress

The High Magnetic Field Team has successfully constructed multiple sets of integrated magnetization and demagnetization pulsed power supply systems with a range of serialized parameters. These systems feature voltage ranges from 16 kV to 25 kV and energy levels from 1.25 MJ to 2.6 MJ, achieving controllable waveform magnetizing devices, high-repetition-rate loading, and a vehicle-mounted pulsed high magnetic field generating device that enables reuse of the magnetization and demagnetization system. In addition, the team has developed multiple large-scale integrated magnetization and demagnetization coils as well as a heavy-duty rotor rotation and alignment system, capable of meeting the application requirements of integrated magnetization and demagnetization technology for permanent magnet wind turbine rotors of various power ratings both domestically and internationally. These accomplishments provide a solid hardware foundation and technical guarantee for further exploration and practice of related technologies.

To date, the company has successfully delivered and completed the acceptance of the first integrated magnetization and demagnetization product set for permanent magnet wind turbines at XEMC (Xiangtan Electric Manufacturing Corporation), earning high praise and unanimous recognition from the customer. As a typical example of advanced manufacturing and new quality productivity, this project has effectively improved the customer's production efficiency and capacity scale, further enhancing the competitive advantage and market position of downstream products within the industry, and powerfully advancing the overall development of the permanent magnet wind turbine industry.

The team, in collaboration with Dongfang Electric Corporation, has successfully achieved the world's largest single-unit 26 MW permanent magnet wind generator's integrated magnetization and demagnetization application. The successful implementation of this landmark case fully demonstrates that the team's integrated magnetization and demagnetization technology for large-scale permanent magnet equipment has reached a world-leading level, capable of covering all related models worldwide, injecting strong momentum into the technological innovation of the global permanent magnet wind power industry.

As an industrial enterprise meticulously incubated by the High Magnetic Field Team, Magnetic Pulse Electric (Dongguan) Technology Co., Ltd. was honored with the recognition of a Technology-based Small and Medium-sized Enterprise by the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Bureau in 2024, and won the highest award in the 2024 "Songhu Cup" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. The company has successfully secured contract orders worth several million RMB, while also attracting the attention and earning the high recognition and favor of numerous professional investment institutions. It has successfully obtained tens of millions of RMB in Pre-A round financing, demonstrating strong market potential and development vitality, steadily advancing on the path to commercializing technological achievements.
